This recipe contains the super combination of oats, dates and coffee and it’s made the day before, so you don’t need to do anything in the morning!

Waking up with coffee is great as it gives you a much-needed little boost of energy after a big night out, while oats and dates are full of essential nutrients, fibre and raise blood sugar levels to get you ready for a new year.

Espresso Overnight Oats with Dates


  • • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¾ cup almond milk
  • ½ cup of coffee made with Coffee Hive Dark Roast Pods
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 Medjool dates pitted
  • Water
  • Directions

  • Mix rolled oats, chia seeds and one pinch of salt in a bowl
  • Add the almond milk, coffee, maple syrup and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix again
  • Place in the fridge overnight or for at least two hours
  • Blend the Medjool dates until pureed and add a couple of drops of water if the mixture is too thick
  • Add the date caramel to the oats before serving
