Add Ginger to Your Coffee
Ginger is a divisive flavour! You either love it or hate it. If you hate it, skip to reading about the wonders of adding peppermint oil to your coffee, if you love the taste of ginger, then my friend, this tip is for you. Ginger aids in digestion, reducing bloating and stomach pain. Try ginger in your coffee to soothe a sore throat and reduce joint inflammation.
You can add ginger to your coffee in a couple of ways. Add a couple of slices of fresh ginger to your mug before pouring your pod, or add a couple of teaspoons of powdered ginger to a tea strainer and steep the ginger in your coffee for a minute.
Add Peppermint Oil to Your Coffee
I’ve never met a peppermint flavoured product that I didn’t like. Combining peppermint and coffee, makes every day feel just like Christmas morning! Add Dark chocolate to Your Coffee
For years we’ve been hearing about the health benefits of antioxidants. The greatest of these revelations was that dark chocolate contained free radical reducing antioxidants. Chocolate is good for you? Pass me another block! But the health benefits of chocolate don’t stop there! Good quality dark chocolate can lower your blood pressure, lower your BMI and boost your alertness. Dark Chocolate in your coffee is the perfect 3pm workday slump brain power booster and pick me up!
Add a couple of squares of dark chocolate to the bottom of your mug before starting your coffee pod machine. The heat from your steaming hot coffee will melt the chocolate after a minute or so, all you have to do is stir.
Add Coconut sugar to Your Coffee
If you like your coffee sweet the Coconut Sugar is for you! Coconut sugar has a caramel flavour and looks similar to brown sugar.
